Wanted to share some data for the 2025 owners. I’ve been working on a full LED conversion using Lasfit (Turn signals, Fogs, and now Headlights).

Installation Notes: The H13 LS Plus bulbs require a vertical blade orientation. I verified the "wide/forward" chip set should be at the top to hit the reflectors correctly and avoid blinding oncoming traffic.

These are Plug and Play but I happen to have the JScan App so here are the JScan Configuration for 2025:

  • Low/High Beam LED Present: Active
  • DRL Configuration: Optional
  • DRL Dropout (Wink): Active
The light output is a crisp white that matches the Lasfit LED fog lights perfectly. Highly recommend for anyone still stuck with the halogen "yellow" look.

I can feel the glare through the screen. 😂

No one will ever convince me that putting LED bulbs in the worst housings on any modern production vehicle isn’t a bad idea.

That all depends upon the aim and especially orientation of the “blade” mounted within. Everything I have read and personally experienced has been to have the led elements facing side to side, as stated in the MORIMOTO instillation guide. To prevent unwanted glare, plus correct coverage on low beam. Haven’t added to my Gladiator yet, but my last truck, a 2019 Colorado I had all 4 MORIMOTO bulbs installed in the high and low beams, without ever being flashed. I aimed them low enough that they would not blind me in my friends Vette, oncoming and behind me. With a crisp cutoff exactly 2” below the center of the headlights lenses at 30’.

Can you post some pictures in the evening when it's dark out? Interested.

You just said it yourself. The Colorado/Canyon has a completely different/vastly superior housing. All you have to do with those is an H9 conversion and you have vastly superior headlights to stock. I did expensive PIAA bulbs in my 2017 Canyon and the cheapest H9 bulbs they had at Autozone on my dad’s 2018 Colorado. Huge difference with both over the H9s because the low beam is a good projector beam style housings. I’m not even sure that the more expensive bulbs were worth it. I can see how LED bulbs would also work well in the low beam housing. I did do diode dynamics LED fog lights on my Canyon because the factory fog lights were terrible and a weird bulb size.

I knew how awful the halogen headlight design was on these so I made sure to purchase the LED option. They were awful on the JK too and I was never going to deal with that again.

But my Colorado didn’t have projector low beams. Just regular reflective headlights
