I have been using oem filter and no additives, no issues. The oem filter pleat material is more like fabric than the 2 paper like aftermarket filters i had compared. Stick with oem.I was running a Doc's diesel filter initially, Mopar on the change - had about 5k miles on Doc's before issues started. I was running additives in my tank which on review may have been over supplemented. Not sure if that was contributing. in addition i noticed the Lubricity additive was frozen in my truck when the cold hit VT where I live and it hasn't left - still averaging 10F.
At this point a new Mopar filter and 0 additives is better than previous.
