Ordered our Willys Tuscadero yesterday through the overseas dealer for us military folk ...hoping it'll take like 4 months or so but won't mind if that drifts to the right so we can save a bit for a good down payment lmao 100% wasn't planning on doing this, was a surprise to us that Tuscadero became available on the JTs, so we had to jump!

Got our VON finally after pestering our overseas dealer. Nothing showing on Jeep's tracker yet, but that's not surprising as it's only been three weeks now...but I swear I saw either on this forum or the JL forum that there was another site to look into, but I can't friggin find it now. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I know I didn't dream it up lmao

FWIW, all those tracker sites are ultimately calling this:

(replace VON and Lastname appropriately)

Their API only returns a subset of actual status codes (C, D1, E, KZ, KZM, KZX) and there's a delay from whatever batch process they're using to sync the "real" status code over to the public-facng side.

I ordered a fairly loaded rubicon gladiator may 2, and it showed up at dealer yesterday may 30th, couldn't believe it took less than a month! first gladiator sport I ordered in 2019 took over 3 months to get it

Probably depends on if you enjoy reading JSON or not, but I found it easier to just bookmark (and habitually check, lol) the API web site for my order - loads really quick without any graphics, etc.

I'm worried that my VON I've been provided isn't the actual VON as it has a letter at its beginning...but I'm not getting an error stating that it is incorrect on Jeep's website so it should be right.

It hasn't even been a month and I'm already going crazy lmao I don't even want it quickly...I just want to make sure it's in process so we don't get F'ed out of my wife's dream Jeep lmao

Yeah, that's the response you'll get if either the VON or the last name isn't right (and the official tracker and any third-party trackers aren't going to work, either).

So either they've mangled your surname or the VON isn't right.

Any stateside dealers in here who could look up my order maybe? I don't think the VON provided is correct.

*edit: we happened to be at the base where the overseas dealer is so I popped in to politely say “wtf dude?” and he informed me that we have a VIN now so that’s good. Currently waiting for Jeep Cares service team to get back to me with the build tracker since my VON is still wrong I guess

Good Luck Man. I am still dealing with the same thing with MAS and haven’t taken delivery yet. My VON also had a letter as the first character and still doesn’t populate in the Jeep tracking website. MAS only saving grace is no dealer can match their prices for a 2024 otherwise I would have moved on by now. I think mine is taking while because I wanted a manual. My build sheet and window sticker does show up when I plug my VIN into

Ours is built, and thanks to your links I can see my Window Sticker too, so thanks for that! But we're sitting in a similar status...awaiting rail to then get put on a boat and take a month or more to get to here

Well, good news is our truck is here at our nearby base (Ramstein)…bad news, the one week I can get there to try and do the registration and shit everything is closed for a local holiday (tomorrow)

Gotta try and convince the wife to take time off in November (she’s a teacher, but we don’t get Thanksgiving break in Belgium). So we’ll see. If we don’t do it the week before Thanksgiving, it’ll probably have to wait until January 2nd 🫠
