Beats me? There are some on here where it hasn't made much difference. My dealer says about 2% MTs, so you'd think they'd have some on hand. Jeep Chat can't tell me.
I ordered a MT Rubicon on 2/28 too. Maybe there will be enough orders to build a batch of them.

Guess I'll hop in here for those looking at comparison orders.

03/04/2022 ordered from Koons
JT Rubicon Diesel. White with aux switches, no safety stuff, denied me the bed liner.

Got the VON number immediately.
03/05/2022 Received VIN and Status D update

Pretty pumped, Sunday i posted that i had filled out the order on Sat, and the order would go in Mon. Just spoke to the salesman and a Vin has been assigned and it's gone to "D" status. Hopefully it continues this smooth and quickly.
Don’t get too excited to quickly. I know it is hard not to. I had the similar experience ordered on February 8 had the VIN the next Business day. it showed as already built by February 17 and then hung out in inspection for four weeks. just got confirmation from JEEP chat that it had been sent to shipping today March 12. We will see how long this stage takes. I thought my anxiety would be a lot better once it hit the shipping stage but it has only gotten worse, much much worse. Pace your Emotions don’t get your expectations too high too soon. I do wish you the best. The welcome email I got from Jeep about two weeks in said to expect delivery the week of 3-13-22 so we will see. For my JTRD WHITE LOADED.

That tracker isn’t worth squat. Seen many posts on here where people get there Jeep many weeks before a sticker shows. Mine is in shipping and still no sticker. It does give you something to do while waiting…

Happy Pi Day - I celebrated by finally ordering a Gobi Rubi from Mall of GA. My wife and I were pretty set with options, but gotta admit the global sh!t and economy had us a bit nervous. We made the gametime decision to scale-back to our minimum wish list, below. Our 2009 JKU Sahara w/ dual tops helped us decide which options we didn't want to go without.

Gobi Rubicon
Premium soft top
Auto trans
Bed liner
Aux switch
Soft top bag
msrp: $53,705 (incl dest)
Mall of GA: $48,612 (incl dest and doc)
Add state tax and title

SOOO GEEKED! ?

Shout out to Mike Clinnin who has been stellar with us and my son, who ordered a Wrangler on 2/1.

Don't get the violins out for me - it's still a Rubi. I'm just trying to practice patience. Discovering the 1100+ pages on this thread ain't helping.

I feel like a 10 yr old on December 23 - I have so much more to ask ? for: antenna, tonneau, wheels, sill guards, trail lights, official Red Ryder, carbine action, two-hundred shot, range model air rifle.
You’ll shoot eye out kid… lol

I ordered a MT Rubicon on 2/28 too. Maybe there will be enough orders to build a batch of them.
Just ordered yesterday! So excited! I have been eyeballing these for a couple years now and just made the choice to sell my truck for a nice down payment. I love my TJ, and just like it, the Gladiator just feels all kinds of right.

There are a few things I wish I could have ordered, but not all items are available with all trims, etc..

Sport S
  • Sarge Green - after seeing it in person, it is on point!
  • Gasser
  • TAN interior - I haven't seen any tan interiors but black is just too much black, I hope its a dark tan
  • Satin black grille
  • Spray in beadliner
  • Cold weather group
  • Popular equipment package - apparently this was required
  • 8.4 and premium audio
  • Safety group - apparently this is the 'active safety group'
  • Advanced safety group - apparently this is the 'adaptive cruise control'
  • Max-tow package - this was a requirement so I can have the same axles as the Rubicon and add my own lockers later, also to have the door sticker show higher ratings so insurance doesn't get funny....this was only available on the Sport S
  • Selec-Trac full time - after some members here helped put out some good info, I decided to go this route, hopefully it works good for some decent off highway needs

Options not chosen
  • The LED package was NOT available. Funny because when the dealer went through the build just a week earlier LED was available...must be either a change in their options or parts availability issues. But it's ok because I can install my own LED headlights later, and the tail lights are supposedly LED anyway due to the max-tow and advanced safety groups
  • I opted to skip the trail rail system so that I can install my own wiring and use a better quality inverter and DC/DC charger from Redraw
  • I also skipped the aux switches as I can get custom labeled switches and install them in a factory appearance so instead of just saying 'aux 1-3' they are actually labeled with the appropriate item they are switching.
  • Side steps of any kind were skipped as well so that these can go on right away and I'm not removing a factory installed item that will go in the trash - https://www.quadratec.com/p/rock-slide-engineering/gen-iii-step-sliders-gladiator-jt-bd-ss-300-jt4
  • One of the first things to change will be wheels and tires. Factory tires are noisy and not suitable for off highway. I will be going 33's - so basically the same as Rubicon, just need to figure out the right wheel offset needs.

Dealer said it could be 6 months to receive! Thats awful long - hopefully its half that timeframe. I also need to spray the underside and frame in and out with some Eastwood products as nobody in my area does any sort of undercoating to prevent against rust anymore. Kinda weird actually.

Very excited for this truck. My last truck was awesome but just didn't fit my needs any longer and was too big - this fits ALL my needs perfectly!
The saddle leather is pretty light Colour. Here is a video with the best look I have seen at the saddle leather.

Sarge and Saddle - an absolute classic look. :like: Congratulations!
I really wanted a Gobi so I'm glad I waited, but I have to admit I almost pulled the trigger on a Sarge just because of how fantastic it looks with the saddle leather. It's like they were made for each other.

The wife and I just ordered two jeeps last Friday. Her's is a Blue Wrangler Sport S with just some modest options. Mine is a Rubicon Diesel JT Gladiator with a few more goodies included. Options on mine are:
  • Hydro Blue
  • Black 3-Piece Hardtop
  • Trail Rail System
  • Corning Gorilla Glass
  • Aux Switches
  • Safety Group
  • Cold Weather Group
  • Trailer Tow Package
Gotta say I'm excited... but also already impatient.
Question: Once I get my VON and/or VIN, how do I go about actually tracking the process at Jeep? Is there a website or link I can use to track it?
Cheers!
