I ordered a Gobi Willys on 3/8 from Gupton and had the VIN by 3/9. I contacted Jeep Chat today and spoke with Jacklyn (again). I asked where my Gladiator was in the build process. Her response:

"Thank you so much for holding. I am showing that your order is in the scheduling phase of the manufacturing process."

So it has been in this stage for a week.

I also asked if there was a manufacturing or process code associated with this, such as "D" or "D2"? She said that the plant does not give out codes.

The wife and I just ordered two jeeps last Friday. Her's is a Blue Wrangler Sport S with just some modest options. Mine is a Rubicon Diesel JT Gladiator with a few more goodies included. Options on mine are:

Gotta say I'm excited... but also already impatient.
Question: Once I get my VON and/or VIN, how do I go about actually tracking the process at Jeep? Is there a website or link I can use to track it?

Wow. My wife and I almost bought 2 Jeeps in one sitting last week. My wife had a JLU Sahara with the one-touch roof picked out and info sent to Gupton. He replied quickly that Tuscadero Pink was discontinued. She was so disappointed. No other color would do for her. She also hates my Gobi.

• 2/28/2022 Placed order with Gupton
• 3/1/2022 Jeep Chat status: "The Jeep is in the scheduling stage waiting for parts and for the build to begin. "
• 3/3/2022 Received price order confirmation sheet from Gupton with VIN and VON
• 3/16/2022 Received welcome email from FCA
• 3/16/2022 No build sheet or window sticker on https://cryptostickers.net/

• Gladiator Rubicon
• Sarge Green
• 3.6L gas
• 6 speed manual
• Black leather
• Satin black grille
• Hard top
• Slush mats
• Hard tri-fold tonneau

• 4 Additional Gallons of Gas (turns out I got a good deal on this)

3/11 - 3/15: Short train stop at FCA Facility in Indiana
3/15 Train underway again
3/16 train passing Chicago!

ETA at dealer is between 3/23 and 4/5.

That makes a total order to arrival at dealer estimated to be about 6 to 7 total weeks. Incredibly fast!

contact jeep chat using this website. The chat feature it towards top left. They will give you update on status until it ships. Then you work with your dealer for train tracking.

I ordered a MT Rubicon on 2/28 too. Maybe there will be enough orders to build a batch of them.

The only thing that they batch is paint colours.

Hmm, if that's true (I'm not saying it isn't) I'm guessing that the newly released Gobi would take a while to build up a big enough batch of them. I wonder if they would get to a certain threshold, say days worth of production, before they would start cranking them out. Hmm.

My JTR ordered 2/25 just went to D1 status today and expected ship 4/11, but dealer expects by early May. At least it's moving now. Happy St. Pats day.
