Stripped her down, going to cut off the tusks tomorrow to make room for an EVO Quarter Pounder front bumper!

When I pull the bumper and put on my D-Ring mounts, I’m going to also move the electronic sway bar up.
EVO must have a back log, I’ve been sitting on this bumper for a week and a half waiting for the D-Ring mounts to arrive, they won’t be here until Weds so I figured what the hell, I’ll just go ahead and get the bumper on.

Swung the electronic sway bar up, got new hardware for the new mount position from the local hardware store and painted it black. Pulled bumper and installed the D-Ring mounts and shackles also.

Next up, I’m fabricating a hat out of 1/4 plate steel for the EVO bumper since I’m not installing a wench for now and will be mounting a 10” Rigid light as well.

Since you have this bumper and I am about to pull the trigger on it, can you answer a couple of questions? Does the "Winch Plate" mount using frame tie ins or rely on the front 8 bolts entirely? Are the Evo branded side plates welded all the way around? Maybe on the inside? I noticed you have factory LEDs like me, did you just unplug and cover up end of factory plug? Remove from system with Tazer? Thanks! I'll be dropping a 12k smittybilt GEN3 XRC in this. I think I pretty much have my mind made up on this because of the minimalness and simplicity. Great looking Jeep.
