Key fob & bad battery

When my diesel Gladiator would sit one day without starting the key fob could not start the engine. Once I got in and started it the fob would work. It would work every morning if I had driven it the day before. I took videos and visited Jeep several times. They said no codes and all fine. Talked to the service manager about leaving it and let it sit several days. They could not start it remotely with the fob. Long story short is the battery was barely bad so they replaced both batteries. Never sent a code. Still in warranty period but very close to three year mark.
