I am creating a thread on this specific status. Seems that it is a status that is not common. Searching on the internet resulted in only a couple of hits and they were in other jeep model forums. The best response in one of the threads was it stood for "secondary rail station". I asked jeep chat and this is the response I received.

My dealer indicated my 2020 gladiator was showing as KZS status in the system but no one seems to know what that means. Can you assist?

Thank you for choosing Jeep,Steve! Congratulations on your order. This means your vehicle is in the shipping stage. This is the last stage in the process, the wait is almost over! It doesn't typically exceed 30 days in this stage. Your sales person will call you when it reaches the dealer.

wow! 30 more days? I've had an order in for 2 months now...

That makes sense, we generally advise 8-12 weeks from order to delivery.

Thank you for chatting with Jeep. Have a good day.

I am posting this in case others get this status and can't find information. Mine went into this status on Tuesday, June 4th. I will update this thread once I have a change so others will get a reference on how long this status lasts. My dealer said to check back with him on Friday to see if they have any further update.

One additional note, I do NOT have a sticker issued in the system tracker yet. This makes me wonder if the "secondary rail station" is actually at the plant and some type of a holding pen waiting for loading on the train?

So I was KZS on 5/31.
I was all about jumping on this bandwagon, grabbing a torch and marching to Toledo for someone's witch-soul.
I even had typed this while waiting for JEEP Concierge:
I'm still KZS on 6/5. UUUUGHHHHHHHHH!

BUT then Paige said,
NO JP, you're in KZT!

WHOOHOO!!!

Until it gets to your dealer...none of this matters.

No reason to stress then. Just think of it like having a baby, when it arrives you can celebrate. And just like a kid, when it does arrive, it won't be cheap!

Yeah, this is just the first time I have ordered a specific vehicle instead of just buying off the lot. Tracking each step in the build process and watching it unfold is of great interest to me. That is why I have been so inquisitive. It's like seeing the ultrasounds before the birth...

When I ordered my JLR last year the wait was the hardest part of the process. Just know, when it shows up, you’ll forget all about it. Kinda like breaking a bone. It’s painful, but after it heals, you forget about the pain!

Yeah I was KZ S status on Tuesday - as I hadn't heard from my salesman since the previous Thursday, I'm not sure how long it has been there. I try not to poke too much as there isn't anything he nor I can do about it until it shows up. Of course I read the forum every day, which probably doesn't make things easier. I love the "it doesn't typically stay in this stage longer than 30 days." Ok, so two months to build the thing and a month of sitting on a rail car... I think its just a stock line. I would hope no one had to sit and watch their vehicle dote around for 30 days on a train. Like stevale, I haven't ordered a vehicle like this before, so I do find the process interesting. I also like how we can see a whole sheet of status codes but the one code our vehicles are in doesn't exist on that sheet.

My LE entered the KZS Bermuda Triangle Friday May 24....no obtainable information since then.

I’m starting to get frustrated.

I worked for a railroad early in my career. It is mind boggling how millions of rail cars move in and out of various train yards across this country to get to their final destination. Think about direct flight vs multi hop flights. In rail transport there is rarely a direct train from point a to point b. Hope some barcode on the rail car didn’t get misread.
