Land Between the Lakes - a lesson in planning

My wife and I packed up the kids and dogs and headed west to Land Between the Lakes. My buddy had been there prior and had mapped out some good spots for us on Gaia. But we made one flaw in our plan....

A relief to find those keys, I’m sure! We were in the LBL over Memorial weekend as well just cruising around. Stayed in nearby Murray which is a nice town if ya need to stock up, get a bed, or just visit. Can’t wait to see your return visit video to the LBL!

I was sweating bad about those keys lol
At one point i got in a dry creek bed to scare one of the kids and thought maybe they were down there. Anything and everything goes through your mind.
I think we could have taken my gladiator to some rougher places but the wife was driving her cherokee x and it just doesnt have the same clearance.
We will definitely make reservations next time just incase. thanks for watching!

Love that place. I'm in Kentucky myself but not necessarily close to there. Been once but need to go back. Stayed along the lake most of the time there previously.

I’m about 40 minutes from LBL. Have done Turkey bay a couple times and need to explore the 200-300 series roads more. It’s a great time.
