How do you cover it? Just 3m adhesive spray, wrap panel with large piece of leather and trim?
There is enough extra material to wrap over the edges by about a half inch. 3m spray and reinstall the piece. I did also trim a little plastic off the 2 ends where the seam wraps over so that the extra material around the seam would be flush as it wrapped over. To be honest I might re-do the dash because I did not notice a wrinkle that will end up annoying me at some point. But I learned a little about what to keep an eye out for...
ohh so the pieces you bought were purpose meant to wrap the dash panel? not just a roll of leather with a seam and stitching on it?I used about 100 fabric clips to hold the wrap over in place while the adhesive set. My wife’s idea. Very good idea.
