Seat Covers for Leather Interior WICKED HOT in sun

I live in the desert, temps here can run 110-115ª on really hard days, mostly around 95-100ª lately. Running a mesh topper makes all the difference IMHO.

On my Wrangler I had black Bartact covers over my leather seats and a SpiderWebshade, and was just fine all summer. Now on my Gladiator I'm still running the leather seats along with a JTopsUSA sunscreen, and no problems either. Thankfully I can wear shorts to work, so if I was going to get fried I'd feel it and I don't at all.

Get a sunshade before you get seat covers, see hot it goes.

I actually bought the Alien Shade for front and back, made a HUGE difference. Wont need covers now. Which is good. I like the way the leather looks

Seat Savers (slip overs). Been using them for a gazillion years in every vehicle I've owned!!!
I can personally guarantee you that you can climb in all stinky/dripping wet and they don't let anything go thru and they don't smell even afterwards!!!!!

I also have a mod to them that keeps them on the seat instead of moving when you get out.

We keep a couple of beach towels below the rear seats. If we stop it’s a store or something, we put those towels over the seat and tuck them in so that they stay. Also park with the sun to the rear, when possible.

My Rubicon came with the leather seats and after about 15 minutes I’m sweat soaked from shoulders to knees. I’m looking for a set of factory cloth covers but no luck so far.

If you’re ever in north Florida I’ll swap you! Lol

In our CJ-5 days in Florida, we just put a towel on them genuine vinyl seats.
