I actually bought the Alien Shade for front and back, made a HUGE difference. Wont need covers now. Which is good. I like the way the leather looksI live in the desert, temps here can run 110-115ª on really hard days, mostly around 95-100ª lately. Running a mesh topper makes all the difference IMHO.
On my Wrangler I had black Bartact covers over my leather seats and a SpiderWebshade, and was just fine all summer. Now on my Gladiator I'm still running the leather seats along with a JTopsUSA sunscreen, and no problems either. Thankfully I can wear shorts to work, so if I was going to get fried I'd feel it and I don't at all.
Get a sunshade before you get seat covers, see hot it goes.
