Well, it’s fall in the northeast and the leaves are coming down like rain. I’ve noticed quite an accumulation between the bed and cab. It’s pretty narrow, no way I can get the shop vac nozzle down there. Any suggestions to get these dirt magnets out?

I've noticed the same. Tried using the hose and water pressure also tried my electric leaf blower and still have some leaves down there. Maybe someone else will have a good answer.

Sounds like a job for the Magnum!

If you don’t have one you need one...

That is why I specified that it was a little electric. LOL Since I'm working with what I've got, my next try is pressure washer.

Battery power or can I plug it into the Jeep's 110 inverter outlet?
Or maybe as a Stihl, it's gas.........

I'm almost afraid to use my gas power pressure washer - if I don't remember to change nozzles, my truck would no longer be blue.

(I'M KIDDING! I know it's only 400 watts tops! KIDDING!)

What about using an air compressor with a trigger nozzle? It would be more targeted air versus the leaf blower.

Everyone is making this too difficult.
With a simple process that doesn't involve power tools or dowels or rods, the leaves will simply fall out.
You get under the back of the truck, unbolt the box, slide it back a bit, and the leaves will simply fall out.
Slide box forward into place, install bolts. Done.

Oh man...This beast is gas powered. It could blow the chrome off a trailer hitch!

I finally figured it out tonight! I was able to get out the larger leaves and twigs with a flexible grabber tool...
https://a.co/d/cFKckGf

I was able to get about 80% of the debris using that. For the remaining 20% and all the smaller debris, I used my dryer lint vacuum attachment...
https://a.co/d/8WB0wwO

The problem with the vacuum attachment is the hose is very soft and constantly bends in on itself so it's near impossible to get down to the bottom of the lip where the debris is laying. My solution...take that old metal whip antenna from your Jeep, lay it beside the hose to where the small tip of the antenna is about 2" in from the edge of the hose, use painters tap and tape the antenna to the hose. I put tape from the tip of the antenna and about every 5" and left the attaching section looser so it would flex with the vacuum head. With this, I was finally able to remove all the remaining debris stuck between the cab and the bed. Since the lint hose is so narrow, you'll probably get 3-6 clogs to clean out, depending on how much time you spent getting the larger debris with the grabber tool.

Prior to this, I've tried powerful leaf blowers and pressure washers but neither were working because the leaves and twigs were wet and soggy. Hopefully this helps someone.

Here's my tools...
