Rain-X makes Plastic water repellent spray. I have applied it; however, have not driven in a snow or ice storm yet. Has anyone tried it yet. I will report back when I can drive in storm.

Come on down - snow and ice and more snow later this weekend. It's great for testing LED headlight treatments here right now.
Let us know - I'm interested as we have a lot of wet snow and freezing rain and drizzle - if that's a solution, I'd be all over it. For that matter even on my WJ as freezing rain and drizzle tends to stick to those under certain conditions.

Has anyone thought of a clear cover for the headlight well? May be it would stop the snow/ice from piling up in the headlight>

Why weren't you out driving last Friday night? Should also be snowing most of the day tomorrow.

tada, just got back driving in snowy, not ice storm. Used my wife's 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee (Trail Hawk) with LED head lamps, that I applied Rain X to it back in early January. Worked well enough that I could see at night while snow falling. Had small less than 1/4" line of ice build up on bottom of headlamp. Disclaimer some slat trucks hit me with salt, so side corners of headlamps had salt residue; however, I and my wife could see fine. If one us had a problem I would have known, we all may have been able to hear, even with windows rolled up. I'll follow up if I get into an ice storm.
