I’ll start by reminding anyone reading that I’m coming off the tail end of an FCA buy back of my previous 2021 Sport S. I was plagued by electrical issues the local dealership couldn’t seem to resolve. I loved the truck, so I bought another Gladiator, however I’m gun shy at any little weird thing it does now. The warning chimes give me PTSD.
About 2000 miles into the new truck and I’m getting a more frequently occurring brake warning. After starting and driving, the first time I step hard on the brake to park, not just normal driving, I get the BRAKE and ABS light flashing at me momentarily and lose some brake pressure. After I release and press again it’s gone and back to normal for the rest of the trip, sometimes okay for a few days. No visible signs of brake fluid leakage, the master brake reservoir is full. I bought it out of state, and will be making a dealership appointment to have it checked out. No mods other than new wheels and a Tazer to change tire size. I’d love to hear some idea of something I might be missing before I freak out.
