Picked up my Overland in January and drove it straight to the shop to have the stock AS tires swapped to the Wildpeak 275/70/18 on the stock rims. Will eventually go to a 2" lift and 35's but for now looking to at least level it out.

Anyone gone this route and if so what leveling kit did you use?

I have the rough country 2.5 leveling kit on the front and I used the shock extensions with my factory fox shocks and then I put the daystar 3/4 inch rear spacer on to level everything out and I am running 37 inch tires and it cost me around 250 dollars with the leveling kit and rear spacer and the installation and I have no rubbing at all and I love this set up it sets level it doesn’t look like it in these pictures because of my yard

Looks good. Also thinking I may just find a factory Rubicon take off, less rims and tires, and go a similar route as you did.

The Teraflex 1.5 system is popular. It levels the front without the need for touching the rear..

Mine is a Max Tow. To level it out I needed the front up about 1.5" & not touch the rear.

I ended up going with a hybrid Rubi Take off system (Rubi Front coils & all 4 shocks) along with a .75" daystar spacer up front. Sits great now.

I've often wondered about swapping Max Tow rear coils into my Rubicon to see if it would make any difference in rear drop when hooking to a trailer or hauling things in the bed... Because people claim the progression rates and stiffness ratings are different... But with them only having a 650 lbs. towing capacity difference, it seems like they can't be THAT far apart.

Does anybody know the differences between the Rubicon and Max Tow rear springs?

This thread had the best info I have found:

https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/coil-spring-part-numbers.17448/post-288398

shows the different spring numbers. I guess max tow has an extra coil but the stiffness for the rubicon with the fox shocks they seem to be very similar. Maybe the numbers on the post will help ya!

Yeah, I've read all that before, but it was still all he-said, she-said speculation. So, I just posted in there asking for definitive numbers to prove differences.
