Any thoughts on the 2.5 AEV lifts vs 2 inch mopar lift? Would also be getting the synergy adjustable track bars for front and rear . Thanks in advance Nick
If you're considering it, you might as well go with AEV as they tune the shocks. There's minor trade-offs/differences. With the AEV kit, you get the driveshaft carrier spacer, which is a nice bonus. AFAICT the main difference is their kit uses geometry correcting brackets as opposed to longer control arms.
edit: The Mopar kit also provides updated/corrected front lower spring perches. I would think AEV would include that if it were a problem, but I believe they only provide a passenger shim for weight balance correction.
Instead of drop brackets Mopar kit has longer front lower control arms. Mopar also has Bilstein shocks now, as does AEV. From experience Bilsteins 5100s like AEV uses aren't my favorites. I don;t know exactly what Bilsteins Mopar has now other than that they are reservoirs. We have five 2021 Gladiators with the previous Fox shock Mopar 2" kit and they've been superb, with the exception of a couple of broken front sway bar links that I wrote off to installer error. We bought the lifts as part of the purchase and had the dealer install them. Guy either over torqued them or the opposite.
