Light Bar - front plastic bumper

Has anyone seen a good light bar option for Gladiators that don't have the front steel bumper. I have seen some LED bars that will mount to the rear of it but haven't seen an actual bar that you can attach lights to such as the Mopar one for the steel bumper.

All of your AUX lights will have a mounting system already in place on the light. All you have to do is come up with attachments for your vehicle. I’ve fab’d up a few on motorcycles before using metal stock and fasteners from hardware stores. It’s not that difficult if you plan it out and search your possible mounting location for existing bolts and such. An angle grinder and drill will do fine for all the fab work.

This thread shows a couple good setups for JL bumpers. It’s a bit of work, but will save you some $$ paying for aftermarket mounting solutions.

I fabricated one using Stainless Steel Tubing with parts purchased off Amazon. I used the Mopar frame mount for lights to attach the bar.

I was able to make the light bar from a JK fit with a little tweaking... pleased with how it came out..

Can you share some more details on the tweeks and what brand bar this was. I know rugged ridge and westinautomotive have jk light bars for the plastic bumper, was this one of their products.

This is the Westin brand, there is a rugged ridge and a Mopar one... the Mopar also works as far as I know. I chose this one because it has a smooth finish where the Mopar has a hammered look.

You basically have to remove the front bumper and turn the brackets the right way To make them fit. Once this is done the holes don’t line up. However there are holes in the frame which you can use. Just have to drill the bracket and use the right bolts.

It’s really not hard, just takes a little visual planning and figuring. Once you get it and look at it you will see how to make it work.

Wow, Thanks for the reply and the pic's, funny thing is westin says the have one for the JL or gladiator, but then the website says its not found. I called once and asked and they said it would be out late Q1, but I bet this whole virus thing put an end to that.
