Don't know if this goes in this thread, but I still need to get my bed done and I don't know if I should go with LineX or Rhino lining?

Is both about the same? or one is better than the other.

My vote is for Rhino lining . reason, I have a friend that owns a Rhino lining shop, so I am biased.

Line- x is more durable and harder in my experience (have had it on 2 separate work trucks)
Rhino is tackier which keeps things from sliding as much as the line-x.
Just had my gladiator sprayed with rhino as it won't be hauling gravel or bricks/blocks and I like that things stay put better

I was quoted right at $500 by rhino and line x. With rhino being slightly cheaper. From what I have seen rhino it a bit softer and as previously mentioned, a bit tackier. Line x is hard and has a very rough texture. You will want to make sure and protect anything you carry from scratches if that’s important..... at least it was that way on my old f150. It great for carrying brick, rocks, etc. super durable.

I paid $375 for my rhino Saturday. The last Line'x I had done was closer to $600 (bigger truck though, Ram 6.5').
I believe a lot of it is regionally priced. Since you're in CA, add an extra digit to the front :)

Line-x also has the premium versions that won’t fade nearly as bad due to sun exposure. Just something to consider as well.

I went with Rhino, partly because LineX kept spamming me. Very happy with it, dont know how it compares to LineX without seeing them side by side.

I have Rhino Lining on my 2001 F250 and recently got the Line-X for my Gladiator.

After seeing how nice the new Line-X looks on the Gladiator, I called the North Austin Rhino Lining dealer to ask them about their lifetime warranty because the lining on my F250 is worn down to the metal in some places and has a couple of chips. They quickly explained that it was a "limited lifetime" warranty and does not cover normal wear and tear. The lining is nearly 20 years old now and has served its purpose well, but I was a little disappointed that they quickly wanted to find a way to void the warranty. I still need to drive into town and get them to actually look at it to see if it's covered, but they quoted me around $550 to fix it. So, whichever direction you end up going, you may want to discuss how comprehensive the warranty is.

Just got a quote back from LINE-X. They quoted me $502.44 for standard and $657.09 for premium glossy.

I think the price difference between the standard and premium at my local Line-X was only around $100. I’m sure prices vary around the country.

I just had the rhino lining installed ($495). Given the reviews I have read elsewhere, I was expecting something a bit different. The lining is not what I would call "soft" by any means. It has no give when I push on it. It's also extremely rough. The shop I used sells the "hybrid" version. As far as I can tell it's pretty much the same as line-x, with maybe the difference coming down to how thickly it's applied.

I am happy with it, but I was expecting it to be a little less rough to the touch given what others have said. It might boil down to the specific product that shop used (I know they sell other versions).
