Little Delighted (scratch that: not Dissapointed) in Quadratec

Did you call them to check? That's a known issue with a lot of vendors these days but not totally their fault. If you call then they happily tell you when they expect to get stock back in and they are pretty accurate with it. I've never had a issue when I picked up the phone and called them. I call before I order anything for my jeep and that's from any vendor.

. The big venders that you generally get the better prices through especially with sales are middle men. Mainly because they use their vendor pricing or buy in bulk if they truly have an item in stock. So I am always under that understanding when you order through them they are subject to have the item come directly from the manufacturer. Hence, why I call or email my contact Rob Windle at quadratec who I have been using for years. Like others have said, I get the same discount on everything I order through them (my account is marked for the discount) and in many cases they give me the discount off the sale price so even better. Right now I've been waiting on sliders through them and in this case I knew they wouldn't have them in stock so it takes the manufacturer 2 months to produce. But, why did I order through them? They saved me a few hundred dollars than ordering though the manufacturer. Not always the case though because many products I've gone direct.

But, I agree with you that if the website says in stock it really needs to be in their inventory and not dropshipped. Else, they need to list that. The few things I ordered from them in the last couple months came when they promised they would and they emailed me if they were out of stock. So my experience has been just fine. I actually just emailed and received a prompt response from Rob at quadratec about my sliders all coming from the manufacturer in February.
Other reasons I still keep ordering from quadratec. If I have had issues with products over the years like warranties or returns. Rob has done all the footwork for me with making things right. He's even given me some great discounts. So I will continue to be a repeat customer in many instances with them. I still buy elsewhere though because I am on the hunt for the best prices mixed with reputation of the vendors.
