I think most of us are more worried about vandalism (contaminating the fuel tank) than we are with theft.
True…….
I’m sure the technology of the gas caps has gotten better over the years - I just can’t shake those ‘first experiences’ to convince me to get another one.

I should ask my nephew… He operates his own car hauling business (himself and his truck). I wonder what the ‘hub-bub’ in the trucking world is about locking gas caps? I’m sure there are better (and more expensive) options….curious to know what that is.

The Mopar locking cap works flawlessly. It's a very simply and smooth operation.

I'm not a hotshot or transporter, but I have an in-bed auxiliary fuel tank on both Ram EcoDiesel trucks. They all come with locking caps or a locking door that secures the filler cap.

This has gone on for years.Get the Mopar gas caps.The after market has always been hit or miss.
