The sumo springs are much stiffer. I helped a buddy install the sumos on his 4R because of sag and I could not beleive how stiff they were.

Thank you for the question... just an FYI, we were selling Sumo Springs for several years before we developed the DuroSprings... the DuroSprings were designed to be easier to install, simpler construction and a more tuned response to our overall suspension system.

I haven’t used metal cloak bump springs, but I have sumo springs on all four corners and couldn’t be happier. I very rarely hit them, but the few times I’ve hit a bump to compress the suspension that far, it’s been very soft and smooth. No more banging or jarring.

I'm using the metalcloak on the rear of my JT and they seem to work nice enough. If you hit something really fast and if it is deep enough, or if you are loaded heavy enough... they will bottom out and hit hard, but most of the hits are nice and smooth.

I used the DuroSprings up front early in my build to limit for 37's and they worked great. I since swapped to airbumps, but sometimes think about going back?
