My pleasure. Enjoy! I've been very happy with this setup between the two trucks I've had it on.

This is an RMT Rack. They are hard to find and only sold on RMT built jeeps so I was pretty lucky to find one here on the forums.

The build quality is second to none and I have been able to check out pretty much every single rack manufacturer at SEMA. I'm very happy with the purchase. With the half rack the tent is not very far above the roofline and the space below is very useable.

Mannnn that is the best rack I’ve seen and I love my rebel rack. It’s almost like leitner and xtrusion had a child and this was the best option.

On the same boat, searching for something similar that would work with my bed tonneau cover.

I had a tri-fold in my previous truck and promised myself I would go with something like what I have now in the Gladiator... a low profile bed rack would have never worked with a tri-fold.

I want something that would be low enough while still accommodating a couple of RotopaX gas and water containers.

Most of what I see I will need to modify to make it work with the tonneau cover that I have...

So far, I found one that I could modify to fit... But I like this setup shared by @sharpsicle.... it would just need to be a little bit higher and with a crossmember to be able to mount the tanks.

Sorry to hi-jack... back to normal programming...
Give me a few days I’ll show you what this set up looks like.

I also want LOW profile cross rails; just above my roll-n-lock tonneau. I want them much lower than a half-height rack. I haven't quite decided on a final design as I'm trying to incorporate a shallow toolbox and make a cargo deck for the cooler and Action Packer at the same time, but the plan is to use 80/20 extruded aluminum profiles as the cross rails mounted directly to the t-slot on the tonneau cover. This should put it <1" above the tonneau and bed rails and make mounting any accessories easy. And they come in black.

You could do something similar, buy the double or triple width t-slot extruded aluminum (https://www.mcmaster.com/80/20-comp...ail-profile~triple/t-slotted-framing-rails-4/) to use as cross rails and have a local machine shop fab up some L-brackets that will mount to the Trail-Rail (or something similar made from unistrut or whatever) to whatever height you want.

In my case, I would like to be able to install the fuel and water tanks that I have (RotopaX) on the rack... I do not want those to take the limited space that I have in the bed.

Side note: I am a bit concerned as well with the cooler that I have... I don't think it will fit under the tonneau cover... I have had it for a few years now... works well for the RV and it worked well under the tonneau cover in the Colorado ZR2... The bed in this Jeep is really shallow...

Looking at the specs of my ARB Element, it is 17.1" high... so much for being able to fit it in the bed with the tonneau cover... I need to confirm by measuring it again, but now with the cover, I think that anything over 15"ish would be too tall to be able to open and close the cover.

Looks like that fridge is now dedicated to the RV and I will need to get something lower that would work inside the bed with the tonneau closed.

Looks like I will also need to modify the kitchen setup that I have... that one is easy as the shell is just wood panels that I can cut to fit...

Anywho... back to the main topic... I get distracted so easily... Look! Squirrel!!

Rugged ridge retractable cover with go rhino cross bars and rtt quick disconnect. Can’t fit in my garage now. About an inch till hit hits. Overall everything went on pretty easy. First rtt. 9th jeep build but first overland rig.

I might be asking too much.... but here it goes.

Any chance you have a 2-gal RotopaX to see if it would fit sideways on the crossbar? In that space between the bed and the bottom of the roof-top tent?
