Human ingenuity is a marvel to behold even when it's so bad it's often really, cleverly funny (and head-shaking).

Here's one. This is "obviously" a pintle hitch - take a close look - there's a LOT going on here...

Ok. So they used a weight distribution hitch draw bar, set the Pintle on that, used a muffler clamp to keep it from hopping up and an empty draw bar over that for good measure using a scissor jack to hold that down?

I see the bungee cord, tow strap, padlock but not sure what that’s about....

I’ve done some redneck engineering before but that one takes the cake. Scarred me a bit to think that was on the road. Lol

Don't forget the tow strap "safety chains" replacement :whew: ..... F... that. I seen someone that had a old school bus mount a ball hitch on back upside down and had a vehicle in tow that way, something else I would not do but that's probably safer. Now everyone knows why DOT is out there and why we have warning labels on everything.
