It is not the “Screen Off” button.
I went to start my truck and my main screen is blacked out, no music either.
Everything else seem to be working, at least it still drives!
Only 2700 miles on the 2022 Rubicon Gladiator.
Any ideas how to reset it? I’ve tried shutting down and restarting a few times.
Thanks,
Scott

I hit the radio on/off button and that seemed to wake up the Uconnect. Started back up and working fine again, thank goodness.

I thought I read this in the manual but couldn't find it again. Google came back with this:

Soft Reset
The first port of call is to do a soft reset. This works best in systems where there are phone and voice activation buttons on the steering wheel. Here is how you do the reset:

  1. Press the phone and voice activation buttons for 10 to 20 seconds.
  2. Your UConnect will show your Jeep trim logo and switch off
  3. Your screen will switch on again showing your trim logo
  4. Your UConnect system is now reset
Test the touch screen to see if it’s now working. If not, try the following method.

Disconnecting Negative Terminal
Sometimes the soft reset may not work so you may need to do a hard reset and this method involves removing the negative terminal from the battery for at least 5 minutes.

Doing this allows all the stored charges in the system to completely discharge. Here is how this works.

  1. Remove the negative or both terminals from the battery.
  2. Wait for at least 5 minutes
  3. Reconnect the terminals
  4. Turn ignition to ON position
  5. Your UConnect System will reset

I picked up my JT on a Wednesday and the following Friday drove from Philly to Raleigh, NC and back ... the following week I drove Philly to West Palm Beach and back. I had 4,000 on it well before my first payment was due.

Removing the negative cable from the main battery will NOT reset things - because the aux battery negative is still grounded. You'd have to remove the ground and then take the two ground cables apart to separate the aux battery ground from the body ground cable.
