Heard a whining noise from my 2022 Gladiator the past few weeks, especially at start up. It was really noticeable when I would start it up in my garage, due to the semi enclosed area. I took it to my dealer, a bad idler pulley was the noise maker, they also had numerous software updates, one which cleared an engine misfire code, which really wasn't even there.

All is well now at $0 cost to me.

One highlight of the event was the free loaner they gave me........not too shabby.

I hear a chirping sound on my EcoD and I had a feeling it might be the idler pulley as well? It sounds like my truck is sending Morse Code messages at idle.

Yea. I replaced my idler pulley about 8 months ago. The bearings were shot and they were making a constant squealing noise. I let it go on for months until I finally decided to fix it. I replaced both pulleys just in case.

My Ecodiesel has the occasional squeak also. Sounds like a brake caliper or even a suspension component settling. But the truck is in park at the drive through. Doesn’t do it all the time though.

Same issue here. 22 Mojave bad idler pulley bearing. 14600 miles on it. Letting dealership handle this one.

Replaced mine almost a year ago. But.... I had 142,000 miles at the time. ? I replaced both just in case the other one was on the way out too.
