Can you add anything to help with towing capabilities? I have reg sport and have a travel trailer at 2980lbs. Max payload 9100lbs. What does the max tow offer that could upgrade to reg sport

Well, you would need the max tow axles (wider) like rubicons. They include 4:10 gears, limited slip rear axle, Camera zoom, 245/75/17 tires, HD cooling, 240amp alternator, etc

The axles are the main difference. The other options are included with the standard tow package.

By your GVWR it appears you have a Sport manual. It would be tough to increase your towing capacity from what I've been reading. Even if you did beef things up and added engine cooling, etc., you'd still be over capacity legally if you went over the 9,100 GVWR, 4,000 trailer weight, 400lb tongue weight, etc.

That said, it seems to me that a 2,980 lb trailer could still be loaded lightly and be within your limits. Just make sure GVWR, tongue weight and everything else are within limits and it should tow fine, that is unless I'm missing something.
