A rep from Military Autosource just announced they're now taking orders (4/19!). Anybody hear from dealers?

Are you sure they are taking orders and submitting them, or just lining up orders to submit when FCA actually opens the order banks?

Good call. "Orders are being taken and qualified for processing and sent to FCA the first week of May." So I guess that's when the order banks will open.

This is what I got from my MAS.

"We can build it and the order goes in on 7 May and its looking like an Oct Delivery date. I did my dream one this morning to see what it cost and saw lt only had a $250 rebate."
It doesn't make sense that they would take orders May 7 and then wait 4+ months to build them. If banks open May 7, I bet we see July deliveries. This would also line up with the 2020 MY.

My MAS sales rep is tracking early may for placing the order with Jeep and Aug Delivery times. However their system said Oct, which I think is simply because they had to pick a date. He thinks that was a place holder. My current paperwork says Aug 21.

Is anyone having issues with MAS not price matching? The quote MAS gave me was $8000 higher than some quotes I’ve gotten from US dealers. When I showed the quotes to MAS, they said they can’t price match because those quotes are subject to change.

I bailed on MAS because of a non committal approach on the price matching. They (verbally) promised they would but only 30 days prior to delivery and it had to be a dealer in close proximity to the original delivery dealership. I'm currently working with a stateside dealer who is saving me close to 10k on a loaded rubi.

Any issues with deposits or anything like that? Or did you make it that far with MAS?

I think orders can be fully canceled and refunded until a VIN is assigned. I'm still waiting to see if my local dealer has any wiggle room on the same Sport S i'm working with MAS. I can see some advantages to MAS, but at the end of the day they are just another dealer and not always a good deal.

I'm still waiting on my refund, but my MAS dealer said he's working on it. I have not received a VIN at that point, but I did get the order acceptance e-mail.
