From a friend who lives in Florrisant (I asked about the snow where he lives):


I have a couple patches in the shade. We did a trail on Monday over near badger mountain (lake George tarryall area) and encountered zero snow. Schubarth tends to keep its snow longer but I bet it’s very very little.

If I was a betting man I’d say it’s mostly snow free.

Lol, I just bought 4 dirt cheap FRS walkie talkies off Amazon. Planning on using 3 for me and the two Tacomas in my group and can hand one off to y'all.

I bought a handheld for the trip. JUST applied for a license today. Was waiting/hoping the fee would have dropped by now, but it sounds like that's going to take a while to propagate through the beuracracies.
