I'm due to return my 2021 Willy's (lease) in the next couple of weeks.

I've had zero issues with the truck. Buyout is more than the truck's worth but I know ive taken care of it so I'm ok with eating a few G's.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested in a 2025 41' Mojave w/ green interior.

$7k off (current rebate) aint bad, especially if I can squeeze the dealer a little more on top of it.

With Memorial Day in May I'm just wondering if the incentives are gonna be more aggressive.

Does Jeep typically have decent Memorial Day incentives?

No manufacturers let anyone know what incentives are coming the next month. Your best bet is to check to see if dealership stock is growing or shrinking to get an idea of how they will be.

Desperate times call for brain-dead posts what can I say
Ok, the internet is serious business today. Point being, nobody knows until they actually drop. Even dealerships only get the news maybe a few hours before it goes public. Any guess is just that, a guess.

Now back to making friends and influencing people.

The risk vs reward game is strong with this one. The end of the month is upon us so go make a deal.

As a prior "insider" I can confidently tell you that Memorial Day will be no different than tomorrow or next week, etc etc. Used car market is going to heat up a bit in the coming months, but there's plenty new car inventory sitting around so go make your best deal. Out of curiosity what is the residual value (purchase price) of the '21?

Definitely time for that new car purchase, lol. Jeep may be sitting on a ton of write offs if this is common for their residuals.

I just got back quote for 2025 Mojave X, another terrible residual

2025 Jeep Gladiator Mojave X

- MSRP $62,400
- Jeep Incentive of -$7000 + an additional -$1000 via a custom rebate from Jeep
- $2500 down (tax, title, fees, first month payment)
- $650/month for 48 months
- .00254% money factor
- 36,940 residual

Before I get even more roasted, leasing is my only option to get the truck I want. Just bought my first house and the money I had aside for a truck vanished along with it. I can comfortably afford the lease even if it isn't the most financially sound decision. I just don't have the $10k + to get the payments to a place I like

Edit: and the cherry on top is that my lease is due back in a few weeks and this is the only 41 w/ Green interior within 100 miles of me

Well, at least if the mileage isn't a concern the lease makes good sense. Never have to worry about carrying negative equity etc. We will never "win" when purchasing a vehicle, at the end of the day so may as well drive what you want to drive.

$54,400 isn’t too bad for the Mojave X. Unless you’re wanting to get the discounted 2024 prices for a 2025. It’s still a lot, but I can remember when they wouldn’t give any discounts at all.
