For those who have metalcloak's 3.5 gamechanger can you do me a favor and check to see how much clearance from the outboard shock mounts the wheel has left at full lock and what your backspacing is?

I know they will only say 4.5 is the most you can go, but the wheel i'm looking at has 4.76. Wondering if that extra 1/4" will still work? I don't want to space the wheels, so if 4.76 won't clear, i'll have to look for a different wheel.
thanks!

17x8.5 0 offset 4.76 BS
It's the fifteen52 Analog wheel.

I didn't mention those stats originally as I thought that the backspacing was a fixed number describing the distance from the hub to the inside lilp of the wheel regardless of how wide the wheel was, offset, etc...

Honestly I’m hoping someone comes along and gives you the right information based on your information. ;)
My wheels are 17x9, -12 offset and 4.53 in backspacing. I’m hoping mine will fit too when I get my install done in a month. :like:

I have asked metalcloak about this and the response was that 4.75 should be ok if you have the rubicon or max tow since they have the wide track Dana 44 since they are already wider than standard

That’s a significant consideration. If that’s the case, a lot more wheels will work with their lifts than a lot of people are aware of. They should clarify that in their backspacing statement...
