Lovely footage, I've never been to Drummond Island (with or without a Jeep,) but I think I'm going to look at adding it to the list of camping spots for the wife and I.

One question, while most of the trail looked doable in my Gladiator, do you think a stock Sport S on street tires would have a chance getting through the pond section of the trail? :)

Also saw Holly Oaks briefly in your footage, there, I've been!
My nephew (stock JK) followed me throughout Drummond, without any problems. Only thing they didn't attempt was Marblehead Steps.

Yeah, if what I just saw in someones video of driving the steps is right...
Pretty sure my Jeep wouldn't make it, or at leas wouldn't enjoy the experience. LoL

I have a couple Drummond videos on my channel and the JK we were with had some struggles with 33's. I wouldn't attempt Drummond stock. There are trails that can be completed but you will be limited and plan on hearing some questionable frame etc smacks coming from underneath.

So out of curiosity, which trails on Drummond would you say would be doable in a stock Gladiator Sport S, without getting any "questionable frame etc smacks?"

Probably Fossel Ledges would be the only one. North Marble loop would be possible also. There are some small steps on North but with a good spotter they can be climbed without concern.

@Proximo thank you! I think I'm looking at the same map you are (the Drummond Island ORV Difficulty map,) so I'm thinking if I stick to the 2WD car and truck, and maybe the 4WD Jeep, and stay away from the 4WD Challenge trails, I ought to be OK.

Especially if I play it safe and be ready to "bail out" if I think the trail is too much for me or the Jeep as it is. And I tend to be "conservative" in estimating my skill level, so even some of the 4WD Jeep trails I'll stay off.

Especially considering at least potentially my first visit is going to be...
Me.
Just me.
I might even just stick to the 2WD trails. OK, probably. OK, fine, 99% for sure just the 2WD trails. :)

There is alot to explore and none of it is one way only so you can always turn around if it's to sketchy. The trail to Log Jam/Conners hole isn't that difficult and Broncos do it all the time. Actually I have questioned how some of the Broncos have gone through alot of the trails there. We always go late September early October and it's been pretty friendly since water levels are low at that time "usually".

Knowing one can turn around on the trails if it looks outside one's capabilities / skill level is quite reassuring to me.

Depending on where I end up camping in July (I'm hoping for Burt Lake State Park,) I might take a day trip up to Drummond to poke around for a day.

Another beauty is, it's FREE! (If your ORV sticker is current). Just pay for the cheap ferry ride.
