So the little diesel glad rubicon is at the dealer (only 7 days now).. because obviously spring rate and shock valving is a mystery to Jeep when loading a heavier motor in the vehicle.. I go to test drive it , to show the SA.. and what do you know.. my roof started leaking all over the 8.4 inch screen lol. Never noticed that in the week I had it .. because well garages..

It's weird.. I am pretty sure Jeep/Ram has me brainwashed.. I have had a ton of other vehicles.. and if any of this happened.. I might have driven it through the dealership showroom.. but for some reason.. I am tolerant of these things.. No idea why..

All I can think about is building it when it gets back.. but I can't order anything.. because now I am afraid it won't come back.. Or will this have such issues that I shouldn't build it.. as to not have any warranty questions.. I guess I just needed to vent lol.. because I'm feeling a little sensitive .. perhaps even fragile ..

I wonder if knowing hockey season is here.. makes like a little more tolerable ..

The last non-Jeep I had was an early 2000s Honda Civic that basically
? the bed around 15k miles. Problem after problem that, while under warranty, was a colossal pain in the butt. Traded it in for a TJ and haven't looked back.

While I've had a ton of problems with my Jeeps over the years (had the roof leak in the JT, too), I take solace in the fact that at least Jeeps are vehicles that are a blast to drive! Sorry you are dealing with this all at once, but hopefully when you are finally able to drive it, you'll be driving a vehicle you actually enjoy!

It's funny you say that. For some reason, when you are driving around in a Jeep, all things are somehow just forgiven.

I'm currently driving my dad's XJ until my JT arrives as I sold my daily driver. It just has so much character. It was father in law's hunting rig, then my wife's first car and when it was on its last leg my dad bought it from us and corrected all the issues. We've probably spent more labor and money on parts to getting it sorted that any sane person ever would, but we wouldn't have it any other way. I also get a whole lot of compliments than I ever did in my equally built Nissan ironically enough.

My reply is typically "Oh yeah, love it. It drives awesome unless you need to track straight, turn, stop abruptly, get up to speed fairly quickly or need to drive more than 210 miles on a single tank" - but with a grin on my face.

My wife reminded me recently that the only time we did NOT have a Jeep of some flavor or type was when we had our Stratus. Talk about issues - mostly engine-related.
Otherwise, our Jeeps have had few issues, and those they've had have been minor. The biggest I can recall are on our 91 or so Cherokee Sport - flywheel sensor intermittent issue (annoying more than anything), batteries and radio on her 2018 Grand Cherokee (a common theme with those batteries AND radios - even my son had his radio replaced in his Compass)
Otherwise, all minor - fan relay, window regulator, etc. - all taken care of fast and under warranty.
