we went in July. Not the smartest idea I’ve ever had but the showers and little shade it did have was nice.
If it was September or October, dispersed camping all the way.

We camped at Dead Horse Point State Park at the end of March last year. Shower & kitchen facilities were closed for the season at the time. We got weathered out (blizzard) our last day, but the views and access to great trails and other parks is worth the price. Getting into town is easy by taking either the paved way or the more scenic dirt way.
