Moab Long Weekend in October

Anyone interested in a 3 or 4 day weekend in Moab in October? My preference would be to camp and hit 3 or 4 trails. I can’t do the weekend of the 8th or the 29th. But could do the other three weekends.

Bump. After talking to another interested forum member @darksidedesign, narrowing the weekends to either weekend of 10/14 or 10/21. My thought was to try to leave after work on Thursday night to setup camp. Then do trails Friday through Sunday, or whatever works for people. No rigidity. @Offroadnewbie? @FitfulGoat? All are welcome. Any input regarding logistics are welcome as well. If people would prefer hotel to camping, I’m fine with that as well.

I have to double check and make sure either of those weekends are free but I'd potentially be down.

That just might work on my end. I’m on some construction timelines with a project at work and as long as dates don’t get pushed again middle to end of October is perfect.

It’s been narrowed down to the weekend of October 14th. At least me and a friend will probably get there on Thursday night, the 13th. But any one that would like to join at any point during the weekend is more than welcome. My friend and I will plan to travel home on Monday morning, but again, anyone is welcome for any of the days. Hopefully we can hit some cool trails and enjoy some good conversation around the camp fire.

Hope you can join us! Nothing is set in stone, but probably one base camp for me, as I’ll be using the roof top tent trailer. I figured we’d all decide on trails together. I want everyone to have fun and not feel like they’re doing anything tougher than anyone wants.
