This is totally unrelated but there's a Thai place a couple blocks off the main strip in Moab and it's killer. Pretty much locals only out there. Even during EJS we were almost the only people there.
Hey I appreciate any tips and places. I know we will be camping out that way... kinda doing an overland trip and staying on blms and nps... gonna try to avoid the heat, but a place to stop and eat is definitely good

The only thing I can add is the offroad trail through Arches National Park. There is a "secret entrance" North of the actual park gate, so you skip the line and the fees. Look up Willow Springs Trail on Google Maps then follow it West to where it meets 191. That's the way in.
Very fun trail.

I dont, I do have the mopar receiver hitch with a small skid on it. But im very aware of those departure ledges... not to worried about the bumper. But more worried about the bed. 35s help a little.
I REALLY second the hitch skid. It hits that and prevents a decent number of bumper and bed hits. It’s super easy to damage the receiver otherwise as well. I still find my hitch skid on 37’s with a lift in Moab.

As mostly stock, I have 35s and a winch. I have wheeled here in texas at hidden falls. Did most trails there stock even some that I was sketched out on fully stock with barely 500miles. Since have done the more difficult trails fine. Just gotta hit that line!
Exactly. On 35’s you can definitely do poison spider. You’ll just need to find the right lines. I did it on stock tires the first time. But I did not have the hitch skid then. My chain rings on my receiver we’re not happy with me. The waterfall obstacles look a little daunting, but you can do them. Stay really wide right on the first one, and pretty far left on the second one. You’ll see what I mean.

That red rock is a heat sink and after a while on it you feel like a roasted chicken. Take lots of water with you and have a great time.

I cannot wait to go back. Poison Spider is on my shortlist.
Hells Revenge and Fin’s were epic.

Best 4 wheeling up I have ever been on.

What was your souvenir? Dent?

Also rashed up the rear bumper a few times... that hitch skid would have been nice for sure....

It’s freeing. My bumper is trashed cosmetically. It bothered me the first time I scratched it. Now not so much.
