Mopar Pennzoil Platinum 0W-20 Ecobox

I was looking at the 2022 Mopar Vehicle Lubricant & Chemical Catalog and noticed that it shows p/n 68524002AA for Pennzoil Platinum 0W-20 in an Ecobox. An Ecobox contains 24 quarts. So far, so good.

BUT, when I look up the price for 68524002AA at store.mopar.com or any of the online parts suppliers, it has a list price of less than $12 and typically sells for about $8.

Am I missing something?

I would assume that the $8.60 price is per quart in a filled ECOBOX for service department applications. They probably mark up the price per quart by 100% and pass that along to the customer.

It is 24 quarts, The part number has a minimum sales quantity of 24 when we order it from Mopar. It is sold like this so that it can be invoiced out in the service departments based on the amount of quarts used per vehicle.

We are sorry but this is not available to order as we are currently not shipping hazmat.

Strange, my walmart has 5QT jugs of the ultra platinum 0-20 and they are normally $31.XX. Just a hair over $6 a quart.

0w is less expensive.. Why who knows.. when you have a 13 JKU and a 21 JT I just run the 5w which is called for in the JKU. It's not that cold here.
