Morimoto lights acting weird after Tazer programming

I just picked up my gladiator from getting a set of 40’s installed. I’ve had a set of Morimoto super 7’s for a couple months now with no issues. I noticed today while driving home from the tire shop (in the dark) my nights seemed brighter than usual when on low beam. I got home and noticed that the drive headlight is basically stuck in high beam mode. When you select high beam a shutter moves and is visible in the drive light path but it doesn’t seem to actually change the brightness, just kind of directs the light slightly different. The passenger is working as intended. I’ve attached 2 photos. First is low beam second is high. The only change made minus the 40’s is the reprogramming via the Tazer for the larger tire. Any idea if this would’ve caused it? Or do you think the light is defective? It’s hard to show on photo but it’s definitely way brighter on the driver side and wasn’t before.

Yeah that’s odd. I’d contact Morimoto if they’re still under warranty. Or they may be able to troubleshoot with you. How far away from the garage door are you there?

Update: tapping on the light fixes it. Must be the internals are messed up. Will be calling them tomorrow
