Mounted Wheels and Tires Ordered Online?

Quadratec has some pretty good deals on wheels and tires sets right now including free shipping. My questions is how do 5 mounted 37's get shipped? Loose? Boxed? strapped to a pallet? I just know back in the day when I was working freight, the heavier the piece the rougher it was typically handled. Has anyone ordered mounted and supposedly balanced tires online? experiences? I guess I am just a little hesitant because if I have any issues, I am pretty much out of luck. If I order unmounted wheels and tires I can still work with a tire shop locally if theres an issue since they would have mounted and balanced them. This route will cost me more but if its the best way I will do it. Thoughts?

I ordered mounted wheels and tires from discount tire. They came individually wrapped with cardboard over the wheels and banding around the tires to keep the cardboard in place. Worked out perfect, no issues.

OK, so I did it. Ordered from Quadratec. Fingers crossed. They said they have everything in stock. I confirmed same with Rep on the phone. Will ship in 3-5 business days. Order says 4-8 weeks delivery time. WTF? Yeah, I know it comes freight but if Quadratec has them mounted and strapped to a pallet and picked up by the end of next week, even the worst freight company could get it to me inside of 2-3 weeks max,,,,, I hope.

I ordered one of Quadratec's tire/wheel packages for my 17 Rubicon. Nothing but good reviews from me. Can't recall how long it took to ship, but it wasn't weeks. Packaged well, perfectly blaanced (M/T MTZ's on their xtreme series wheels)

I don’t know about Quadratec but they came like this for me from tire rack, all 5 wrapped and shipped individually with one containing documentation and hardware

Edit: my wheels were backorderd for about a week but once they were shipped, they arrived within a week.

I just ordered a set of 5 mounted/balanced from Quadratec. Shipped via freight shrink wrapped to a pallet. All in all took 7 days from placing the order before they were at my door, but I'm not far from their location either.
