Yeah I looked at those, but the thought of taking them on and off all the time, when in big city areas someone would steal them in no time, kind of bummed me out, I have the locks and all ready to go.I mount mine on the side panel but suction cups don’t care side or top ! You just need a flat surface . I’ve even mounted them on my rear doors once !
They are easily removed but are very secure once suction is made!
Yes that is a drawback but they are very very simple to remove and reinstall if you have a place to store them while in a “big city” environment! I have removed mine and stored inside Jeep (Rotopax are very sealed and no gas smell is released) while staying at a motel or shopping parking lot with a lot for a longer period of time!
