Did my first off-roading! Not a ton, but there’s a fair coating of mud on the underside. Do I run it through a car wash first? Will that hurt the car wash? And then hose/powerwash it off myself? Thanks!

For anything on top of any skids. I use a wand that screws (used to water hanging plants) onto a hose and I replaced the "shower head" with a "jet sweeper nozzle". This also works well to clean mud and muck out of the frame. For the rest of the underside, just park it over an oscillating lawn sprinkler, moving the sprinkler every 10 minutes or so to get a new area.

Before you start to clean it, put a lawn sprinkler under the jeep for an hour or 2. That will loosen up the mud underneath the jeep.

Whenever you can rinse off near the trail. Nice to leave what you pik up from the trail on the trail. If you bring it home carefull not to get posine ivy or worse on your land.
