I've also bottomed out the front end in potholes with my diesel sport s. As another member said, the front bumpstops are about an inch longer on the diesels, I believe because the bottom of the oil pan is lower. I just picked up a 1 inch front diesel-specific spring spacer for $50, which specifically helps this issue.
do, you have a link? cheers bud

I think there might be quite a difference between Jeep in Europe and Jeep in the USA.

If you modify anything without approval your warranty is gone. At least in Germany.
this is soo true, they dont even know what country the gladiator is built in.... then i had to wait 2 months to get the rear window replaced due to water getting in, they thought they could repair it, which of coarse you cant, in france it feels more like a fiat garage than a jeep garage.

Agree different springs are the best solution, but so far I have been happy w/ a spacer + Sumo bumpstops. YRMV
Also agree it is pathetic such a vehicle is built/sold with underperforming suspension.
Yeah, sumo bumpstops fixed my JTRD from bottoming out. I did front and rear. The front were much more time-consuming. The rear only took a couple of minutes. I bought them during a holiday sale.

I actually worked with Chrysler about this issue back in 2020, I factory ordered a ‘21 diesel as soon as I knew about them … anyways, we agreed the fix would be a Mopar Lift and they approved it!!! I provided measurements of my bumpstops, travel distances, compared to other unit on the lot, my wife had a 4xe so I could compare a lot with that too…

now I have a 2023 and less inclined to go with the Mopar lift, I was thinking about swapping in a pair of wrangler 392 XR springs. They should be an inch taller AND have a higher rate to compensate for the hemi.

Basically a leveling kit using factory parts …

or I may install the Mopar lift again, lol.
