I tow up to 7000lbs with my 21 Max Tow weekly and find it does it easily. It not very fast at getting up to speed but adequate. Not sure if it’s been mentioned but, I Manually shift my Automatic VS letting the computer shift. I shift it around 4k vs the Auto shift points which are 5 to 6k range. This has improved my mileage when towing and I like being able to maintain a gear, rather than it jumping back and forth from gear to gear.

I intend upon towing an 18-foot tandem axle, 102" wide enclosed box trailer with my Gladiator Overland on 34.5" Falkens, 2" axle spacers, and no lift. I have ordered the Redarc trailer brake controller since the OEM Mopar one is permanently on backup. One the brake is installed, I should be loaded to about 5,000lbs. That's within the 6,000lb tow rating, but I understand the larger tires effectively lower the axle ratio from 3.73 down to something less. Still, taking it easy, I think it will be fine for 100 mile round trips. The V6 is certainly going to be screaming on the hills. I would definitely not call this an HD tow rig, but it does have a decent frame and Dana 44's could be considered half ton truck axles.

Question. I have a 2022 Glad with a factory soft top. Uhaul would not rent me a trailer for a former soft top Wrangler. Does this app,y to the Glad, they want to call a Wrangler a “convertible”.
That’s crazy!
you have the same roll bar as my fiberglass hard top.
good grief.

Great info care to share your checklist? Thanks.
I’ll have to clean up some of the acronyms to make it suitable for a PG viewing!??

My mother has an rpod 153. They’re awesome little trailers! My ONLY complaint is the rear entrance can be a pain with rain. The interior is awesome though, huge upgrade for you from having a wet bath to a traditional bathroom.
Yes, I concur. Rear entry gives space but a rainy day is not pleasant. I towed it through Ohio, Pennsylvania, and south to Florida. I took it to Texas through Alabama, mississippi, and Louisiana. It towed alright with 14-15 mpg at 62 mph. My casita towed easier with less frontal area but I really like the dry bath and much larger fridge.
it took me three months to get every thing working, awning had a loose connection ( I never did locate the fuse) and would not extend (worked great at acceptance), propane for water heater wouldn’t kick in, hot & cold water valves were reversed in shower, and a tiny leak coming out of water heater.I did add a second propane tank. I also added temperature monitor so I could see. Fridge and freezer temps in the Jeep as i drove. I do have a cover for the tanks.

I've had my JT since June 2019 and have been towing and offroading/rock crawling since. I towed our 3200lb camper for a couple years, tow our 16' ATV trailer all the time, a teardrop camper, and a couple weekends ago, I towed a 4,000lb trailer from TX to FL.

The only time I do pay attention to MPGs is when I'm towing across state lines. Just because I am curious. I'm on a 2.5" lift with 37s. I averaged about 11/12 on the trip.
