My JT will be sitting for about a month. Any flat spot precautions?

My 2024 JT Mojave came with Falcon Wildpeak AT3w tires. It will be sitting in the garage for about a month. Do you think flat spots will be a problem? Should I increase pressure while they sit? Thanks!

For only a month I wouldn't be too worried about it. I would increase the pressure. Look for the maximum pressure label on the tire and keep it below that. Be sure to air it down before driving again. Another option would be to raise it on some jack stands so the tires are up off the ground.

Like freezing your tires on the Alaska Highway overnight, just drive slow for a few miles and they will reshape. I use Conti's on my CTS-V and they flat spot some in storage. A short drive and back to normal.

Parents' RV sat for a few years. The tires thumped for a few miles then were OK.

I routinely have a vehicle or two sit for months during winter. No problems. Use a battery maintainer, though.

You may want to check this out radial tires do not get flat spots from setting , only Bias ply tires. My Gladiator sets for months at a time, with no problem . But I have to put a battery tender on it to save the crappy battery system Jeep has on it.. Tires do well!

I used to leave my Jeeps sitting for over six months at a stretch while deployed. No jack stands, no messing with air pressure, nothing more than pulling into a parking space then coming back over half a year later and drive off. The tires would always smooth out after driving a mile or two. Tire life and condition wasn't negatively affected either.
