2.5" will let you slide by without driveshafts for awhile . But honestly that is what I have and in all seriousness I totally intend to go 3-3.5 next year. 2.5" is good for alot of applications but the deeper or higher stuff requires a little bit more . I don't know what year your JT is . Do you not have a FAD ?
I had 3.5 on my last gladiator and I liked it with 35s but I did do driveshafts.

I had 3.5 on my last gladiator and I liked it with 35s but I did do driveshafts.
I am gonna regear to 4.88's and probably move to 37's also but yeah 3.5" I think is an optimum height very versatile . I have a FAD

It's a 2025 Rubicon X
2.5 " definantly then cause front driveshaft will give you fits unless you get rid of that blocker plate and get a FAD and have it installed and yada yada.
