just picked up my 2024 jt willys! traded in my 20 wrangler sport 2.5 teraflex lift and 35s. this is my first gladiator so I’m trying to decide what lift to put in it. I definitely want to do a 3 to 3 1/2 inch lift. It’s a weekend warrior and still my daily driver so on top of it performing well I want it to also drive well i definitely also want lower and upper control arms track bar ect to make sure castor and everything is good. I was thinking about the Clayton or metalcloak lift im not opposed to other lift suggestions but I’m still deciding and their price differences are pretty significant if anybody has any feedback or information on lifts that would be really great. Also, I will be re-gearing because I will be running 37. I’m just not sure if I need driveshaft front and back or neither. and if you could show me your rig set up, that would be pretty cool, especially in the anvil color.

clayton isnt much its about $2700 the link you sent shows a 8k lift lmao
FYI Clayton lifts do not include shocks. Those will be an additional cost.

If you want an easy bolt in all-in-one with minimal to zero adjustments needed then look at AEV. Their Dualsport RT with standard springs is advertised as a 2.5 inch, but you'll probably see closer to 3 inches. It will come with brackets to correct front control arm geometry and give you camber adjustment. AEV claims you don't need trackbars, and you technically don't for anything 3.5 inch and smaller, but if you want your axles back to true center you'll need trackbars.

General rule of thumb is anything less than 4inches doesnt need new driveshafts, however Metalcloak is known to have a bit more droop than others, so thats why they say you need new shafts.

I have the AEV 2.5 lift Dual Sport and we love it; we did add an adjustable front track bar and a 3/4 spacer up front because of the rake. I can drive 80mph with 1 Finger. We do Medium to hard trails in the forest and never had any issues, we also Rock Crawl some with Zero issues. Running 37's on it with no rub.

I got the Mopar factory lift from them that I couldn't order when I got mine, I couldn't get the spray in bed liner either. My 2" lift with Fox 2.0 shocks was about $1900 from Bam. I added 1" spacer in the front to take out a little of the rake. All measured up, it ended up being almost a 3" lift, added the matching Fox 2.0 steering damper later, drives great, still on the factory 33's, going to run them out and metric 35's next

@cdad it really depends on your budget, can you chop fenders, do you want to do minimum for 37's, and type of articulation needed for your 1% off-road DD

I am thinking of lifts. The molar lift is 2100 then you need a front track bar. I can get a metalkloak 2.5 lift for around 2700 and it comes with front and rear track bars. I know they ride good, I had one on my last gladiator. If y'all had 3k to spend, what lift would you get? I was thinking 2.5 inch because I don't want to do drive shafts right away.

2.5" will let you slide by without driveshafts for awhile . But honestly that is what I have and in all seriousness I totally intend to go 3-3.5 next year. 2.5" is good for alot of applications but the deeper or higher stuff requires a little bit more . I don't know what year your JT is . Do you not have a FAD ?

Clayton, MetalCloak or Rock Krawler would be the first places I would look.
Rock Krawler has a HUGE array of different levels of lifts . 7 pages at least
