Great question! To clarify: 1,300 lbs is the Static Payload Capacity of our MONOKING truck bed rack.

Here is the breakdown of the load ratings to help you plan your setup safely:

Static Capacity (Stationary): 1,300 lbs. This is the weight it can safely support when the truck is parked—providing an incredibly solid and stable platform (perfect for a rooftop tents).

Dynamic Capacity (Off-Road/In-Motion): 750 lbs. This is the maximum weight rating while the vehicle is in motion or tackling rugged off-road trails.

We achieve these high ratings by constructing the rack with heavy-duty, high-strength carbon steel.

Additionally, our rack features a fully modular design. You can easily add extra crossbars and integrated Molle panels, allowing you to customize and mount an unlimited amount of gear exactly how you need it.
