So I installed my cowl lights today and all went well except for the wiring into the auxiliary wires. Everything I saw said the wires were different colors than the ones in my truck. My wires are Red, Green, White and Brown. I was like ok this will be interesting. They had little stickers on them with Aux 1, 2, 3, 4 but the colors threw me. They all look the same size, etc. I went with the stickers and it worked out ok. Although I am puzzled how they wired my bed lights in. They won't come on until I push both the normal rear bed light button as well as Aux 1 switch but there is nothing wired to the Aux 1 wire under the hood with the other wires. Maybe they tapped into it in some other location. I had told them to wire it to switch 4. The Harbor Freight Road Shock 3" Spots work well. I tested them earlier and they put out a nice amount of light so no complaints for inexpensive lights. I had to do some modifications to the harness but it all worked out ok. They are not really that big so not too noticeable on the cowl section. Interestingly the Zroad brackets and Road Shock light combination would not allow me to point them straight ahead. But all works out well with the Vision X 4.7 and the Occulus LED lights.
