So looking at getting some Cowl Lights and want to wire them to my auxiliary switches. I have my two Vision X 4.7 on the front bumper and could either wire it to that switch I suppose where one switch turns them all on or to a separate Aux switch. What type of wiring or harness is needed. I didn't do the bumper lights but would like to take a crack and the Cowl Lights. Was thinking maybe getting pair of HF 3" Road Shock Spots. Yea, Yea I know its Harbor Freight but hey they won't break the bank and I could get 15% off on them. If I get a few years out of them all good. I know they sell a wiring harness that goes with them. Not saying those are a given just a thought. The winch is gonna wipe out my Jeep fund for now for the most part but think will have a little left over for maybe something like the Cowl Lights.

Their harness price isn't bad, even though you don't need most if. But it has all the end connectors you do need.

I would get the harness, gives you the splitter section to tie the two lights together.
Then cut the harness where it goes into the relay. You don't need the relay, fuse or switch.
Take the red wire to the Aux switch you want (3 or 4), the black wire to grounding block behind battery. You can fish the splitter through the cowl and into the engine bay.

Silly question, what does the relay do? I installed Baja’s on our JL and a Baja work scene light on the back of the camper on my JT. The relay seemed unnecessary on the JL but maybe ok in the JT.

It's mostly a safety device. The relay's circuit is open until a switch is thrown to power the relay which closes the switch in the relay to power the actual work circuit.

I'm not sure if jeep shop doing the install of the winch is gonna use a Aux Switch or not. Sounded like when talking to them there were not. Currently I have my bed lights on Swithc 1 and my Vision X Bumper lights on switch 2. So I have 3 and 4 open.

I managed to score a pair of the 3" spots from someone on Marketplace for really cheap compared to full price. Purchased the Harness yesterday with my 20% off coupon. Now just need to get some mounting post. Would it harm anything if I wired these into the same Aux switch as my Vision X 4.7's. That way one switch just turns on both sets of lights

You can use 1 switch to power them as long as all the lights do not exceed the amp rating of the switch.
The best way would be to use the single switch to power 2 relays - 1 for each set of lights

I am going to have to do some rewiring. Looks like upon checking when the jeep shop put in the LED and Orcle Bed lights and my Vision X 4.7 on the front bumper they wired everything using up both the 40 AMP Aux Switch wires. Why in the heck they would do that I don't know but they don't draw that much amps. The Vision X only draw 8 Amps and am sure the Oracle Bed lights don't draw enough to warrant using a 40 Amp Wire. Guess they were just lazy. So think when I wire these up I will switch the Bed lights to one of the 15 amp Aux Switchs and the Vision X and the Roadshocks to the other 15 amp switch since combined they will only draw about 13 amps. That will leave open the two 40 amp switches for future use. I do plan to wire in a Warn Winch interrupt switch to one of those most likely. Leaving me with one free switch if I ever decide to put something else on
