I've been an Astros fan my entire life. I've been through the 100+ loss years, I've been through the 90's where they seemed to lose to the Braves in the playoffs every year, the 2005 World Series where they hobbled in and got destroyed by the White Sox, and I've been here through the cheating scandal. I've always said that you can't really enjoy the successes of the teams you root for unless you've been there during the bad times. Atlanta played great and absolutely deserved to win this WS. They had the pitching and the hitting clicking at all the right moments. Hopefully, the Astros will be back and can actually win a legitimate WS soon.

A long suffering Washington Senators fan here. Sure was great to finally get baseball back in Ashington, and then a World Series Championship! Amazing no one got to see a home win in the series.
