I got the new email too. Of interest is that instead of having 2 floor drink holders they now have 2 very shallow coin trays. Now what would stay in those trays while a JT goes up and down and over and around big boulders? Really stupid to have such small trays there instead of drink holders there.
That's what the JL has if you get leather seats. A lot of people have swapped out for the cupholders. I was hoping all JTs came with the cupholders though.

Hey Jeepers! I did not know that. But in all of the videos and pictures of the JT with leather seats they all had drink holders in the fold down rear center arm rest and they also had the floor mounted drink holders. This is the first time I have ever seen that little coin tray thing instead of the floor drink holders. I plan to get a base Sport model with fabric seats and no rear center fold down arm rest. So I should be getting the floor drink holders.

I wonder if Overland and Rubicon buyers getting leather seats will have any say so in this matter. If I was gonna get leather then I would like to be able to pick what I wanted on the floor: a pair of drink holders or a pair of small, shallow coin trays. In that situation I would get the center arm rest drink holders and the 2 floor drink holders. That way when I had 3 people in the back seat then they would at least have a place to put 2 drinks in the floor drink holders instead of not being able to put any drinks into the floor coin trays.

Yeah I've seen several pre-release JTs with leather seats and cupholders. I really hope it's standard. With cloth seats you should be fine.
